Happy Father's Day! It's the day after Tall Can Marathon 2 (check BeerandRap.com if you're not knowin'), so a little spent but still in the mood for some bangin' dancefloor beats. Had to throw down some AMG--AMG and DJ Quik aka The Fixxers will be in SF tomorrow at Mezzanine. Kid Sister's labelmates The Cool Kids will be at Cafe Du Nord on Tuesday night with local favorite Trackademicks. Big ups to Fourcolorzack in Seattle for reminding me of "Glide" by Pleasure. (I was in high school when that came out.) Check his "Weekday Warrior" mix. The Father's Day dedication at the end (Freddie Aguilar's classic, "Anak") is for all my Filipinos out there. Peace!
